Help centre / How to enter your vial and dose
Before you start
Have the numbers from your provider or the vial label to hand: the vial strength in mg, the amount of bacteriostatic water you added in mL (for powder you reconstitute yourself), and the dose you were given in mg or mcg. If you pick a peptide from the library, Peppy may pre-fill common starting values to save typing. They are placeholders, not recommendations: check and change each one to match what your provider gave you.
Add the peptide
- Open Peppy and tap to add a peptide.
- Pick it from the library, which holds 45 peptides and blends across metabolic, growth, recovery, longevity and other categories, or add your own as a custom entry.
- Choose whether it is a powder you reconstitute or a pre-mixed vial.
Enter the vial
- Enter the vial strength in mg.
- For powder, enter the bacteriostatic water you added in mL. For a pre-mixed vial, enter what its label gives.
- Choose the syringe you use: 0.3, 0.5, 1 or 3 mL.
Enter the dose
- Enter the dose your provider gave you, in mg or mcg.
- Peppy shows where that dose falls on your syringe, so you can draw it.
- If a number cannot be right, such as a dose the syringe cannot hold, Peppy flags it. Check the number with your provider and correct it.
Build the schedule
Set how often the dose is due and the reminder time. You can keep one fixed dose, build a ladder of steps, or give the protocol an end date or an on and off cycle. Saving the schedule creates the reminders. See the article on titration ladders and cycles for the details.
