Help centre / How dose reminders work
What you are reminded about
- A dose that is due, at the reminder time you set for the schedule.
- A dose coming up, so you can plan for it.
- A vial running low, counted from the doses you have logged.
- A vial about to expire.
- A titration step coming up, if your schedule has steps.
Allow notifications
Reminders are iOS notifications, so Peppy needs permission to send them. If you declined the first time, open the iPhone Settings app, go to Notifications, choose Peppy and turn Allow Notifications on. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone itself; Peppy has no push server and no copy of your schedule.
Change a reminder time
Open the peptide, edit its schedule and change the reminder time. Future reminders are rebuilt from the new schedule when you save.
If you miss a dose
Peppy keeps a missed dose in view so you can catch up: log it late if you took it, or leave it as missed. Your Track history shows what was logged, what was missed and how often you were on time. Peppy will not tell you what to do about a missed dose; follow your provider's instructions.
Widgets
Peppy includes five Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets that show your next dose and vial levels without opening the app. Touch and hold the Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap to add a widget and search for Peppy. What a widget shows stays on your iPhone.
